My name is Ben Bartoli I live in Northeastern PA. I currently work as the Chief Business Development Officer for Core Information Technologies LLC located in Clarks Summit P.A. & I am also the president of  Trout Unlimited “Lackawanna Valley Chapter”

I have been Fly Fishing for about 7 years. I began fly fishing as a form of physical therapy after shoulder surgery. It was suggested by my surgeon, and I haven’t been able to stop since!

I learned from a friend who lived on a lake. He started my education on his lake with Blue Gills then on to Bass and finally the next spring we were to begin the “science of trout” as he liked to say.

The next spring he passed away and I still went on doing what I knew best, Bluegills and Bass. That same summer I was introduced to Charlie Charlesworth a professional  fly fisherman and host of fishing shows such as “Fly Fishing North East PA”, then “Outdoors on the Fly” and now “Fly Fishing Top 2 Bottom” on the Sportsman Channel.

He has become a good friend, a mentor “in both fishing and business” and is now a business associate. He has continued my education into the world of fly fishing and all it has to offer worldwide.

Fly Fishing had changed every aspect of my life, personal & professional. I swore that I would pass on what I’ve learned in the hope of changing their lives as much it changed mine.
